Monday: And It Was A Day Just Like Any Other…So Far

Christmas Time

I don’t know about you people, but I have this weird fascination with anything that’s free. I don’t know why. It’s strange. If I see that something is free, it instantly becomes more valuable to me. Take the free chapters of Daylight Hours that I’ve been posting up every Monday and Wednesday for the past couple of months for example. They’re 100% free and reading them that way makes the novel even better. Especially since all you have to do to read them is click right here.

Shameless book promotions aside, I stayed up until 1 o’clock in the morning watching both the season finale of Dexter and Homeland last night. Finally, a great episode of Dexter that had me wondering what would happen next. (That hasn’t happened since the season with the Trinity Killer)

I typed up a review of sorts with my friend on Homeland. You can read the joint-review here if you’d like to see two asshole’s opinions and thoughts on the really great season 2 finale. How was the Homeland season finale? Here’s a hint: it was really great.

Christmas is right around the corner. I’ve got 8 days to…wait…8 days?! Jesus. Great. I have a week until Christmas Eve and I have ZERO presents. Spoiler to any and all relatives/loved ones. It’s fine. No, that’s cool. A week is plenty of time to desperately search for gifts. Waiting in line is half the battle and I love nothing more than standing behind bitchy customers at the register for twenty minutes.

Christmas…there’s nothing like it. I think I will be hitting up Walmart at 4am. Lines shouldn’t be too bad then.
