I literally just finished writing the first draft of the second book in my Daylight Hours Series!
There’s nothing like the feeling I get when I finish a project. It’s the kind of fulfillment I don’t get any other time in my life. This is the kind of work that I love and really care about because it energizes me.
I work at 7:45 in the morning until 3:00pm and then I have to drive up for my first class by 4:00 to start the new semester at FAU. I’m going to take two weeks off from writing now that I’ve reached my goal and finished the sequel before school started. I’m going to use these two weeks to promote Daylight Hours, the first book in the series and try getting it exposed to more people. After that two weeks of “vacation”, I’ll be back to revising and editing the second book and starting the whole process of getting that ready for publication.
It’s hard to put down in words how amazing it feels to write the closing line of a novel and how incredible it is to just accomplish the goals you set. I really have to expand my reach to readers all over the country, let alone South Florida. I’m asking for anyone who sees this blog to post a link to this on their wall on Facebook or to retweet this post on Twitter to as many people as you can who love reading.
Daylight Hours is available for the Nook and Kindle for only $2.99. If you want to see an original take on an old concept, read Daylight Hours now to meet Kris Grant and see Vampires in a whole new light.
Thank you everyone for your support. This business is all about getting your name out to people and getting the novel into the hands of readers. So please, spread the word. As long as I get to entertain or motivate one person to start writing or reading, then I’m accomplishing what I set out to do.
